Southern Districts Rugby has a proud legacy, but to stay competitive, we need more than passion—we need resources. The Rebels Rugby Foundation (RRF) is our way of securing the future of rugby in the St George and Sutherland Shire.

In partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, we’re calling on past players, supporters, and the community to help level the playing field. Other clubs have strong donor groups backing their success—now it’s our turn.

2026 Funding — Applications now open

We’re now inviting proposals that strengthen our club on and off the field. If your project builds capability, supports players and volunteers, or improves facilities and programs, submit an application for 2026 funding.

Assessment criteria

Relevance to club goals: How clearly the project aligns with the foundation’s goals and objectives.
Impact on the club: The expected benefit for the club and its members.
Feasibility: Whether the scope, budget and timeline are realistic.
Sustainability: The likelihood of a lasting positive impact.
Compliance: Whether the project and its expenditure comply with not for profit regulatory requirements.
